A Balanced Training Experience

Every pup is different! I try to create a unique program for each pup I work with.

I like to give each dog at least a day to get used to their new environment. After a day of adapting to their two week home, I then begin my training process. We start on leash and feel out temperament and problems. Once I figure out the best method for their personal needs, I then spend two to four days teaching them their new commands and how to walk on a leash. After that period, I start to introduce their training collar, then we really get to work.

We work on leash with their training collar and around day 7-9 I begin their off leash work. I shoot to send dogs back to their families around day 14, but some pups take a little longer. I don’t mind spending the extra time since I don’t want to send any dogs home without being ready. It isn’t about getting it done within a certain time period, it’s about the pups and their humans being happy.

I also offer a complementary one-on-one training session after completion of the board and train program. Then, I hold a weekly group class that is free with your board and train. I want you and your fur baby to succeed. I will help you during your journey to build a happy, healthy, and strong bond between you and your best friend.
